Neurodiversity Celebration Week challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. It aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported in education.
The University is looking for around 5 neurodivergent individuals to be filmed talking about their experiences of being neurodivergent. The film clips will be recorded on campus by a member of the Experience, Engagement and Wellbeing Team. Each clip will be under 30 seconds long and made into a short compilation to be displayed across campus during Neurodiversity Celebration Week (18-22 March) and on the University website. For more information and to express an interest in taking part, contact Dr Madge Jackson (m.jackson@abdn.ac.uk) by 6th March.
If you would like to take part but don't feel comfortable being recorded, we are also looking for students to share their experieces via a blog - which will be housed on the Student Channel. If you would like more information on creating a blog for Neurodiversity Celebration Week, please email wellbeing@abdn.ac.uk
