The University now has its very first electric van, which will be used by our Library to fetch books from our Institutional Storage Facility in Inverurie. It replaces the Library’s previous diesel powered vehicle and will contribute to the net zero commitment in Aberdeen 2040. This is part of a joint project between the directorates of Digital and Information Services and Estates, which also managed the installation of charging points at The Sir Duncan Rice Library and the Store.
