Ever heard of the University Court? Wondered what it does? Or why it exists?!
Now’s your chance to find out more with a ‘Court Meet and Greet’ event that will take place on Monday 21 November from 4 - 5.30pm in the King’s College Conference Centre Auditorium.
With members drawn from the student and staff communities, as well as from outside the University, Court plays a vital role in overseeing the management of the University.
At the event you’ll be able to hear directly from Court members about their activities – and why it’s important for students! AUSA President Vanessa Mabonso Nzolo and University Rector Martina Chukwume-Ezike, who are both Court members, are among the speakers.
Professor Pete Edwards, Vice-Principal Regional Engagement, will also talk about the University’s important role at the heart of the local community in Aberdeen.
There will be an opportunity to ask Court members questions during a Q&A session, and an informal drinks reception will take place immediately after the event, where you’ll have the chance to mingle and chat with Court members directly.
This hybrid event is free and open to all. If you plan to attend in person please register here to reserve a space as seating may be limited.
Anyone with any questions about the event can contact Janine Whitfield, University Governance Officer
