On Monday 30th May Aberdeen City Council is launching its Low Emission Zone (LEZ) in Aberdeen city centre. The LEZ prohibits high emission vehicles from the area to help improve air quality. Although the LEZ is active now, no enforcement will take place until June 2024 to allow people to understand and adjust to the LEZ.
