Granite Journal has been awarded £800 to co-host a Scotland wide training event in academic publishing. Granite is the first postgraduate interdisciplinary journal of Aberdeen University.
Granite Journal has been awarded £800 in funding from the University's Development Trust Student Fund to co-host a Scotland wide training event. The training workshop is aimed at teams working on university postgraduate journals and other student publications.
Granite is partnering with SPARK journal at Stirling University to deliver this event, which will the first of its kind in Scotland. Training topics will include peer review, copy editing and publishing best practices.
If you are a member of any of the University’s student publications, or if you are a postgraduate student looking to gain experience in publishing and peer review, please get in touch: granite@abdn.ac.uk. This is an amazing opportunity to network with senior level staff at the university and also to meet a broad range of publishing professionals.
