Engineering company, Worley, are running a competition for engineering university students in the UK to celebrate COP26. If you win, you'll join them for a paid summer internship.
Worley are asking you, to work in teams of 3 - 6 and answer the question:
'How do we retrofit our world for a circular economy?'
This can be an idea, technology or strategy to enable the circular economy now. You can solve one problem or many. You can pick a specific industry, product or service. Or create something new that doesn’t exist yet. Submissions can be presented in the most appropriate format to represent your idea – video, presentation, report.
Your submission should:
- provide a description of your solution
- provide details of any assumptions
- include drawings and sketches (if applicable)
- be no longer than 1,000 words
- be concise
- include a completed entry form
The prize
The winning team will be offered a paid internship with Worley. Their internship program places you alongside UK leaders and experts, supporting your professional development and boosting your CV. This can be carried out at any of our UK locations or remotely.
But that’s not all, you’ll present your idea to senior leaders, and if applicable, they might provide investment to help you develop your solution further. Finally, each winner will receive a sustainable gift hamper.
