BHM24: PGR CommuniTea Series, Race and Research Culture: Centring Black, Asian and racially minoritised PGR students
-
This is a past event
This session centres the experience of racially minoritised PGR students – a hyper-minoritised group within the UK PGR student population. Using findings from Maisha's doctoral research exploring the experiences of British-Bangladeshi female PGR students, and collaborative research at the University of Southampton investigating Black and Asian PGR student experience, Maisha highlights the often-contradictory experiences students from racially minoritised backgrounds encounter within the doctoral research culture and community.
This event is taking place as part of Black History Month 2024. For the University's full programme, visit abdn.ac.uk/events/bhm
