10 years ago, Spinal Muscular Atrophy was the second most common inherited cause of infant mortality worldwide, but you may never have heard of it. Three novel therapies have emerged, which are providing new hope for families. Regius Professor Simon H Parson (Chair in Anatomy) and Dr Elma Stephen (Consultant Paediatric Neurologist) will discuss the advances which underpin these life extending and enhancing treatments.
