Applications for the £500 prize are open. The prize is available to any registered student in any area of study which involves Pictish History or Culture.
The prize will be awarded to an outstanding project proposal which plans to undertake innovative research in Pictish studies.
The prize was established in memory of Findlay Harris Dick by his son. Findlay was a great lover of the North of Scotland and was born and brought up in Perth, which was a key part of the Pictish Kingdom or Culture.
The deadline to apply is 28 March.
