With assessment season fast approaching, it’s important to be aware of the support available to you. If you’re unable to submit a piece of coursework or assessment, you can ask your School for an extension. Extensions can be granted on medical or compassionate grounds and you can apply for these through the Absence Reporting and Extension Request Tool on the Student Hub.
It’s really important that you do this in advance of the assessment deadline.
More information about extension requests is available in the Policy and Procedures on Extensions and Penalties for Unauthorised Late Submissions of Coursework.
The University also has a wide range of support services to help with both academic and personal matters. Take a look at the services available.
