'SCOTMAC is one of the only Model Arctic Councils in the world today designed with undergraduates in mind. Students play the roles of delegates from Arctic states and, unusually in model diplomacy, Indigenous peoples. Their challenge is to negotiate unanimous consensus on some of the most pressing questions facing not only the Arctic and its communities, but by extension our world as a whole.'
Applications are open for the second Scotland Model Arctic Council (SCOTMAC 2) from 10-12 March 2023 at Glasgow Caledonian University.
The bursary is available towards travel/accommodation costs to successful Scottish university applicants.
