The NHS Business Services Authority are running user research sessions regarding the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), which is paid as part of a UK visa application for students moving to the UK to study for longer than 6 months in 2021.
What is the research is about?
Due to changing government policy, eligible EU national students who have moved to the UK from the EU to study on or after the 1st of January 2021 and have paid their Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) fee, may be able to apply for a reimbursement.
We’d like to reach out to students to learn what their expectations of this service would be and to gain insight into their needs to help us design a user-friendly service.
What does the research involve?
We have designed a survey to capture information on the student visa application journey and student perceptions of the state healthcare system here in the UK. We are asking students for 10 minutes of their time to compete the survey.
Who can take part?
Any undergraduate or postgraduate student regardless of nationality or residency status can complete the survey. The survey will take between 2-10 minutes to complete depending on the participants circumstances.
