2025 Aberdeen Boat Race
This is a past event
The Aberdeen Boat Race between the University of Aberdeen and RGU is due to take place on Saturday, 15 March, with supporters of both teams urged to turn the banks of the River Dee into a colourful spectacle.
The race, which has been running since 1996, is described as the north-east of Scotland’s answer to the annual Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race.
Both crews will be getting ready in preparation for the March race. Each of the rowers will take just under 5500 strokes in the course of the 3.5km race and along with the crew coxes, will test their physical and mental endurance to the limit.
This year is the Boat Race's 30th year.
