Project SEARCH Session 2025/26

Greetings potential interns!

group of workersDFN Project SEARCH is an employability programme for young people (ages 16-24) with learning disabilities or who are on the autism spectrum.

Does the thought of working or applying to a job make you feel nervous? Are you having trouble finding the right job for you? Or would you simply like more experience and qualifications before you take that next step into work?

Whatever your current level of confidence and understanding, you will always be able to get something out of Project SEARCH, which aims to make your transition into the workplace as smooth as possible.

Our recruitment timetable for Session 2025/26 is:

  • December 2024 – Recruitment opens
  • Thursday 6 February 2025 - Open Day
  • Friday 14 March 2025 - Closing Date
  • Week of Monday 24 March 2025 - Invitation to interview letters issued to shortlisted applicants
  • Thursday 17 April 2025 - Interviews

We will be holding an Open Day in the Project SEARCH classroom, Butchart Building, University Road, on Thursday 6 February 2025.   Please come along any time between 10am and 4pm to see round the classroom, meet the team and ask any questions you have about the programme.

Support will also be available to anyone wanting to complete an application form.
