Evaluation & Review
Wherever possible ask colleagues to review your learning and teaching practices and participate in self reflective review of your own practices as well. Likewise consider feedback from your students and externals too, in order to assist you with continually reviewing and updating your own practices.
- Possible approaches
-
What you can do
- ask a colleague or critical friend to peer review your learning and teaching practices
- complete a checklist to review your learning and teaching practice
- keep a journal or note about your own experiences, reflections about your teaching, such as what went well, what didn’t go so well and what would you do differently
- ask your students for informal feedback, using polls or quizzes
- review your course feedback forms or gather feedback from staff student liaison groups
