“Open to all”: a diversity and learning conversation
The University held a successful series of events in 2020 when staff and students collaborated in “Supporting Learning for Students from Diverse Ethnic, Cultural and Educational Backgrounds”. Some recordings are available, and we have continued to build on this through our Celebrating Diversity blog.
To complement this, we are experimenting with a series of monthly informal drop in sessions which will be held on the second Wednesday of each month. This is an opportunity for all staff (including PGR students involved in teaching) with an interest in this area to pop in, chat about an issue or trial some ideas. The focus is on informality and openness.
