The theme for 2024 blended Annual Academic Development Symposium was ‘Embracing Diversity: Supporting Inclusive Learning Communities’. The Symposium took place on Thursday 25 April 2024 It opened with a keynote presentation from Dr Mirjam Hauck, Associate Head for Internationalisation, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics at the Open University. The keynote was followed by a range of discussion panels and workshops to exchange practice and ideas in a supportive and collaborative environment. The event concluded with the Principal’s Teaching Excellence Award 2023/24, and the presentation of prizes for the Symposium poster competition.
