An update on the new Director of Student Recruitment
Dear colleagues,
I am delighted to let you know that we have appointed Ashar Ehsan as the new Director of Student Recruitment.
Ashar is currently undertaking the role on an interim basis and will commence in his new position on 1 December 2023. He brings a wealth of experience to the role and has worked at a wide variety of Higher Education institutions, both in the UK and globally. Within his previous roles, Ashar has developed and implemented international recruitment strategies and innovative recruitment techniques.
Commenting on his new appointment, Ashar said: “I feel privileged to be able to continue to work with the wonderful community of staff and students at the University. These are both exciting and challenging times. I look forward to bringing my experience to bear as I lead teams in developing comprehensive plans and strategies in student recruitment for a more sustainable future."
