The University launched its LGBT Staff Network Group in February with a very successful and positive meeting earlier this month.
Stonewall Scotland attended the meeting and provided helpful suggestions for the future of the Group. The Group discussed holding social get-togethers (perhaps jointly with other Networks), becoming involved in University policy development and offering mentoring opportunities for colleagues.
The Group were keen to meet again soon and to invite all LGBT colleagues to attend and also any colleagues who have an interest in LGBT issues.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 19 March at 12.30pm – 1.30pm in Committee Room 2, University Office.
