CyberScotland Week invites individuals, organisations and communities across Scotland to raise awareness of cyber security and strengthen our collective cyber resilience.
This year’s theme, Can’t hack it!?, highlights everyday actions everyone can take to improve their cyber resilience.
CyberScotland Week is for everyone – cyber threats are a reality that affect us all, in both our personal and professional lives. As our world becomes more connected, understanding the cyber risks and knowing how to protect yourself, your family, your business and your community is essential.
Meet the University’s Information Governance and Security Teams:
Members of the Information Governance and Security Teams will be hosting a pop-up stall on the ground floor of The Sir Duncan Rice Library on 25 and 26 of February between 11am and 2pm. We welcome all staff and students to come along with any questions or concerns they may have on security or data protection.
While you’re there you can test your skills on the simulated phishing test, to see how well you can tell a phishing email from a real one.
Information Security Training and Polices
We would also like to thank all Staff and Postgraduate researchers who have taken their mandatory Information Security and Data Protection training courses so far and remind those who have not to please do so as soon as possible.
