During the Easter break DDIS have upgraded PC hardware in the following areas:

• Sir Duncan Rice Library - Floors 1 & 3
• St Marys - B28
• Taylor Law Library
• William Guild - S26
The new PCs (220 in total) are HP All-In-One (AIO) units with the following specification:
Processor: Intel i5 13500 - 14 Core
Memory: 16GB DDR5
Hard disk: 1 TB SSD
Monitor: 23.8" Screen
The new AIO's also help with cable management on desks (see before and after photos).
Staff and students are reminded not to unplug devices. They must remain plugged in to facilitate out-of-hours deployment of security patches and updated security configurations, which help protect the data and identity of everyone on campus.
