Dear colleagues, among the many interdisciplinary activities taking place this year, we will shortly be pushing the button on an exciting new campaign designed to highlight and celebrate our outstanding research capabilities.
Encompassing our response to the five Interdisciplinary Challenges as set out in Aberdeen 2040 strategy, along with our commitment towards progressing the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the campaign will highlight some of the impactful, solutions-focused research taking place at the University of Aberdeen which is delivering tangible benefits to partners at a regional, national and international level. As part of this, we’re delighted to be able to share a fantastic new video which raises awareness of how our research is breaking boundaries. You can view the video here. It will also be posted on social media, and, if you see it, we would encourage you to like and share it to help spread the word about the groundbreaking work being undertaken by colleagues in Schools across the University community. In the weeks ahead we will also be shining a light on some of the work being undertaken by some individual boundary-breaking researchers and post graduate students; and highlighting some of the projects driving real change across some of the biggest sustainability challenges facing society. Best wishes Nick and Liz
