Share your views on campus regeneration

As part of the £50 million investment in our estate, there are plans to regenerate areas of the historic King’s campus to enhance the quality of the education that we provide and to support future growth in student numbers.

We are in the early stages of considering options for this regeneration project and we would like you to tell us what you would like to see in these spaces and how the regeneration project might support your teaching and the student experience in the future. There are two ways for you to engage in this project: you can attend one of our open sessions, to be held on Thursday 18 July (3:00 – 4:30pm) and Monday 22 July (2:30 – 4:00pm) in the Old Senate Room, and you can contribute your views through our Yammer stream. Refreshments will be provided at the open sessions.

Below are some questions to prompt your Yammer responses:

  • If you are teaching in historic King’s currently, what can’t you do that you would like to do?
  • How do you see yourself teaching in the future?
  • How much does technology influence how you teach/how students learn?
  • How can teaching & learning spaces support students who need additional support?
  • What do student say to you about formal teaching and breakout spaces?
  • What institutions can we learn from? (These don’t have to be universities.)

If you are unable to attend then please email any responses to the above questions to businessimprovement@abdn.ac.uk
