The University of Aberdeen will next week welcome prospective students from around the world to its historic King's College campus for the first of its two annual undergraduate open days.
The event on Tuesday (August 27) is aimed at people of all ages looking to study at the 2019 Scottish University of the Year*.
An academic exhibition will provide visitors with an opportunity to find out more about the subjects on offer, while the University’s student support services will be on hand for advice on admissions, accommodation, finance, and student life.
This will be supported by a range of talks throughout the day covering everything from individual subjects to student finance and the excellent career opportunities open to students.
Campus tours are also available, including the chance to visit the architecturally award-winning Sir Duncan Rice Library, Aberdeen Sports Village, Aberdeen Aquatics Centre and the newly refurbished student accommodation at Hillhead Student Village.
The Aberdeen University Student's Association will be on hand in the Students’ Union Building, representing many of the University’s sports and student societies, while a barbeque and food outlets including vegan, gluten- free and halal options will provide refreshment throughout the day.
