Celebrate research with a range of fun activities,workshops and more!

Explorathon is back for another year and will take place at the Music Hall on Saturday 30 September!

Researchers from the University of Aberdeen will have a range of fun, hands-on, demonstrations and activities available that explores the research they have been working on, and how it impacts on you.

Events taking place on the day include:

Hall of Mayhem - 10am - 4pm

Science Workshop 'Nanoinvasion' - 12.30pm - 1.30pm

Science Workshop 'Periodic Success' - 2.30pm - 3.30pm

Explorathon will also feature special events from the WayWORD Festival, a youth-led festival celebrating cross-arts from the WORD Centre for Creative Writing at the University of Aberdee.

Explorathon is a Scotland-wide festival run by a partnership of Scottish universities that celebrates the research happening in our universities through a dynamic programme of free public events focusing on ‘Making Research Real’.
