On Founders' Day we pay tribute to our historic origins as an ancient University and give thanks for the vision of Bishop Elphinstone and our patron fathers.
Since we cannot meet in person this year we have created a short film which will include elements of the usual service, it will be launched online on Sunday 7th February at 11 am. You will find a link to watch it from 11 am here and on the University Facebook page.
The service and readings will be delivered by Rev Marylee Anderson and Rev David Hutchison, Chaplains to the University, as well as a representative from AUSA. The Principal, Professor George Boyne, will start the film with a welcome and will also read the names of the founders of the University.
There will also be a message of goodwill from the guest preacher, Right Rev Dr Martin Fair, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
