Professor Jane Geddes has won an award of £50,000. from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to develop access to Old Aberdeen heritage. Supported through the Cultural Engagement Fund.
'Heritage for All: The History on our Doorstep' Project will develop an app to study the architecture and history of buildings in Old Aberdeen and May Fest related events.
Please have a look at their most recent publications - two volumes of Buildings of Scotland. Aberdeenshire: the North and Moray: South and Aberdeen.
A computer guide will be created for visitors to the campus along with interesting events, connected with the heritage of Old Aberdeen (further details to be announced shortly).
