An event on outdoor learning for all the family.
Come along to hear Sue Palmer, chair of Upstart Scotland and author of Toxic Childhood and 21st Century Boys, talk about the benefits of active, outdoor play for young children for their learning and general wellbeing.
Whilst the discussion is going on, there will be a den building workshop for children aimed at 3-7 year olds in the Cruickshank Botanic Gardens run by Mandy Tulloch of Mud Pies so feel free to bring your children along whilst you attend and head out afterwards to the gardens to see the theory put into practice! Children will get the chance to explore the gardens, make dens and also make mud pies for their teddy if they want to bring one along. PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE NO CHILDRENS PLACES REMAINING AT THIS EVENT.
An event which is sure to be stimulating and fun for all the family.
