Wolves and horses and bears! Come and join Professor Kristina Jennbert for an exciting public talk on some of the many creatures thought to have held special power in Scandinavia between around 400 and 1100 AD.

Professor Jennbert will be visiting from the University of Lund, Sweden, and is the author of Animals & Humans: Recurrent Symbiosis in Archaeology & Old Norse Religion (Lund, 2011).

This talk has been generously funded by the University of Aberdeen North Research Theme, and arranged through the project Pathways to Power: The Rise of the Early Medieval Kingdoms of the North.
