An exciting weekend of experimental music and discussions on creativity in the North to promote new music and sound events in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. All events are free and open to the public.
sonADA (Sonic Arts Day in Aberdeen) will host a two-day pilot performance events in collaboration with SERG (Sound Emporium Research Group) and the Interdisciplinary North Seminar Series at the University of Aberdeen.
The event consists of seminars and open panel discussions on the “Creativity in the North” followed by sonic arts performances and audio-visual works which showcase works by Aberdeen-based sound artists and performers.
It aims to promote a new music and sound event in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. sonADA plans to organise its inaugural sonic arts festival in Spring 2015. Overview of the event schedule:
