American Experience: The Alaska Pipeline, Film Screening
-
This is a past event
Join us for a film tracing the development of the Alaska pipeline in the 1960s and 1970s (60 mins).
Featuring the experiences of the men and women who worked on the line, as well as members of Native Alaskan communities, long-time Alaska residents, environmentalists, geologists, and politicians, this film raises important questions about the complexity of large-scale resource development.
The film screening will be followed by a public discussion.
