This week, Dr Gearoid Millar and Dr Sukanya Podder (King’s College London) will present a paper at the online Peace and Conflict Studies Journal Conference.
Their paper, entitled 'Indigenous monitoring and evaluation: Assessing local impacts of peace practice', looks at the existing practices of indigenous ceasefire monitoring and considers how this can provide the basis for Indigenous Monitoring & Evaluation (IM&E).
Focusing on the Philippines as a case study, Podder and Millar will explain how indigenous monitoring of ceasefires offers a host of tools that can inform the development of locally owned IM&E.
The conference will run all day on February 10, and the full agenda can be found, here.
