The 2016 class of Anthropology students graduated on Thursday 16 July. A bumper crop of nearly 50 single and joint honours students took part in the ceremony at King's College, along with their guests and members of staff from the Department.
The Department sends particular congratulations to its two prize-winners this year. Kirsty Kernohan received the prize for Best Student in Anthropology, while Rachel Job received the prize for Best Dissertation in Anthropology.
The media also picked up on some of the graduates' stories, with Alison Noble and Darroch Bratt making the local press.
Along with this year's graduation, the Department of Anthropology was celebrating an outstanding showing in the latest Guardian University League Tables. Ranked 5th overall in the UK, scores include 95% for teaching satisfaction and 94% for satisfaction with the course overall - based on the National Student Survey results.
