An exhibition curated by students on the 4th year course 'Anthropology, Museums, and Society' has just opened in the University Office. 'Rediscovering Stories: Student Encounters with Museum Collections' takes as its focus items gifted by graduates and friends of the University over the last two centuries. Students undertook archival research into these pieces, and often found new information that had not been recorded in the museum records. The current selection of artefacts will be on display until early June and will then be replaced by a second group of artefacts. Taken together, the artefacts give us insights into how the University's collections continue to inspire, just as their donors hoped they would.
