The Scottish Training in Anthropological Research (STAR) course for postgraduate students took place in April 2022. This course is organised by the consortium of anthropology departments at Aberdeen, Edinburgh and St Andrews universities.
Students have talks, classes and workshops preparing them for fieldwork. The course traditionally takes place over a few days in residence at The Burn, an old country house with the beautiful grounds, a perfect location for an academic retreat.
