Join the University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir for an immersive evening of music
University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir
Conducted by Sam Paul
Join us for an extraordinary evening as the University of Aberdeen's Chamber Choir takes you on a sensory journey. Set within the ethereal backdrop of St Andrew's Cathedral, the concert will be a feast for the senses, featuring a captivating blend of music, lights, flavours, and theatrical smoke. The repertoire includes works by composers such as Mäntyjärvi, Whitacre, Tormis, Pärt, Tavener and Radiohead, as well as original compositions by Aberdeen graduates Ed Jones, Tobias Wolf, and Sam Scheibe. With the addition of temple gongs, shaman drums, electric guitars and two world premieres, this will not be your typical choral concert; and promises to be an emotive and unforgettable experience!
We also have a host of student ensemble concerts, seminars, workshops and other events taking place this year – check out our events page for updates:
