Learning Chinese opens the doorway to one of the world’s oldest and richest cultures, over 5,000 years old and the world’s largest population with the highest economic growth rate. Knowledge of Chinese language and culture is of vital importance in the modern world.

This two-year course aims to introduce the basic knowledge of Chinese Mandarin and the rich variety of Chinese culture. It will develop a basic understanding of the language through focusing on all four linguistic skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing. No prior knowledge is required.
