She takes over from Professor Ulinka Rublack (Cambridge University) for a period of three years.
The GHS publishes an internationally recognised and prestigious academic journal, German History, published by Oxford University Press. Activities of the GHS range from its annual conference in September to bursaries and fellowships for early career researchers, conference and research grants, undergraduate and postgraduate essay prizes, and a book series, Studies in German History. It also supports outreach activities in schools across the UK. It closely collaborates with the German Historical Institute in London.
