The MacLeod Scholarship may be of some interest to our students. The first preference shall be given to applicants whose research field is Modern Gaelic and/or Ecclesiastical research, and the second preference for general Gaelic language or culture. Applicants working in any field in the religious or cultural experience of the Highlands and Islands would also be eligible to apply.
In the event that an applicant can not be identified in the above subject areas, applicants with research interests in the Humanities and Social Sciences will be eligible for the scholarship, with a specific preference for those studying areas focussing on the rights and responsibilities of citizens relative to communities in the state.
