Join us on 15 May to celebrate the publication of books by department members Isabelle Gapp and Hans Hönes.

A Circumpolar Landscape: Art and Environment in Scandinavia and North America, 1890-1930 is the first substantive transnational and ecocritical assessment of Scandinavian and Canadian landscape painting. It's also Interdiciplinary Research Fellow Isabelle Gapp's first book!

Hans Hönes' third monograph Tangled Paths: A Life of Aby Warburg is an intimate biography of one of the most influential historians of art and culture of the twentieth century.

Join us on 15 May, 4-5pm at the Interdisciplinary Hub, Crombie Lounge, to celebrate these new publications and hear Dr Gapp and Dr Hönes in conversation about their books. A drink reception will follow. All welcome!
