The Centre for Ministry Studies at Aberdeen University, in collaboration with the Presbytery of Aberdeen and Shetland, are hosting a new Worship Leading course that begins in the MacRobert Building at the University on Wednesday 1 September.
Facilitated by Rev Dr Ken Jeffrey, the six session course aims to provide people with the skills to lead worship services in their local churches. The course is being delivered in Aberdeen with representatives from congregations in Buchan, Moray and Shetland attending online. A second course on Preaching will be held in the new year.
Dr Jeffrey commented, ‘I am delighted the University has received this opportunity to partner with the Presbytery of Aberdeen and Shetland and is able to provide training for local people to lead worship in their local churches. We hope this course will support the mission of the church across the north east of Scotland and in Shetland in the coming years.’
