Paul Nimmo, who holds the King’s Chair of Systematic Theology in the Department of Divinity, has been invited to join a significant ecumenical dialogue. He will be one of a four-person delegation representing the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe in a forthcoming bilateral conversation with the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity of the Roman Catholic Church. The theme of the two-year dialogue, whose meetings are to take place in Basel, will be church and church communion.
