Members of the CEFAW Team (Margaret B. Adam, David L. Clough and David Grumett) are please to share an academic journal article from Animals, 'A Christian Case for Farmed Animal Welfare' which is available to read and download for free. It offers an excellent way into some of the discussions about Christian ethics and farmed animal welfare that are the foundations of the CEFAW policy framework, and provides resources and examples of what Christian support for animals looks like. It considers current orthodoxy around Christianity and the treatment of farmed animals, alongside scriptural and historical intepretations of faith and commitments to animal welfare.
