This image has Skinner in the centre. On the left is 'Professor' William Scott, who taught Skinner to dance, and on the right is Skinner's son, Manson, who he in turn taught to dance. Both Scott and Manson toured as members of Skinner's concert parties, Scott recited poetry in the Buchan (an area of north east Scotland) dialect, and Manson performed Highland and 'novelty' dances. |
