| Item Description | The Celtic Chair was composed in honour of Professor John Stuart Blackie, who raised the £12,000 needed to establish a Chair of Celtic at Edinburgh University. Skinner admired Blackie greatly, and used a letter he received from Blackie as part of the introduction to the Logie Collection (JSS0780). |
