On the back covers of the sheet music he published himself, he would invariable include reviews of his work. He also included advance notice of forthcoming publications. Note how this review refers to his dance music for the pianoforte - on the front cover (JSS0770) he refers to himself as a Teacher of Dancing - no mention of the fiddle! |
