Item Description |
Skinner has written this 'stop' hornpipe out on a letter for his pupil, James MacPherson of Kirriemuir. The music only 'breathes' at the end of each eight bar section. Notice how Skinner has marked the articulation - you can see an example of his own flat slur at bar 2, and the number of bows to a bar (the numbers interspersed here and there).
