Find out more about the research interests of our staff and post-graduate students that are based at the Field Station throughout the year, or read about the career paths of some of our alumni.

Our PhD Students can carry out projects based entirely at the Field Station, or they may use Cromarty as a base for overseas fieldwork or laboratory studies at another Institute. While Aberdeen based undergraduate and taught Masters students can also attend short field courses or conduct their independent research projects at the Field Station.

We also welcome collaboration with established research groups, and can offer facilities for visiting scientists and post-graduate students.
