Congratulations to Pitmedden Primary School and Culloden Academy!
The results of our annual school poster competitions have now been announced.
The judges this year were outdoor eduction experts Dr Annie Robinson from OPAL and Mandy Tulloch from Mud Pies. They want to congratulate all entrants, as the standard was really high, and they really enjoyed looking through all the lovely posters and collages that were sent in.
The Primary School competition "Sensing Our Outdoor Habitats" was won by Pitmedden Primary School, and they will be receiving a camera trap to use to record wildlife in their school grounds. Durris Primary School were named runners up. Judges were impressed the enthusiasm shown for outdoor learning, and the variaty of materials used in all entries.
The Secondary School competitions "Outdoor Laboratories" was won by Culloden School, and they will also be receiveing a camera trap to use in their school grounds. Wallace High School were named runners up. The judges were really impressed by the range of innovative experiments designed by pupils.
