Then come and do your John Muir Award with us in Cruickshank Botanic Gardens!
The John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme which aims to help people connect with wild places and nature. It is fun and enjoyable and open to people of all ages and backgrounds, and since we are now focussing on outdoor learning with our local communities, we thought what better way to do this than offer people in our local communities the chance to do this fantastic award scheme in a beautiful green space in the vicinity. We are focussing on offering this to residents of Tillydrone first as they are our closest neighbours and we are keen to establish links with the community on our doorstep.
In order to achieve the first level of the award, participants will have to be able to commit to doing the award activities on the following days from 10am - 3.30pm:
Friday 22nd April, Friday 29th April, Friday 6th May, Friday 13th May and Friday 20th May.
if this is something you think you are interested in then please drop us a line on biodiversity@abdn.ac.uk.
